Having Fun on Marco Island.

Ok you are here on Marco Island -that small slice of paradise in the Gulf of Mexico. What to do?

Well we have some stunning beaches. Our South Beach has white sand and warm waters for you to dip your toes in. The Sunset Grille is on the beach to go grab a cocktail and maybe catch a sunset? South beach has fantastic views of the rest of the beaches looking North to Residents beach and Tigertail . Beach equipment can be rented on Marco Island along with beach wheelchairs and beach toys- we like www.beachbumequipmentrentals.com they are an excellent team and will take care of everything”beach” for you.

Our beach at Tigertail is fun- loads of parking and also close to nature .as there is a large Eagle nest that can be viewed from a bird watching tower. There is a kids playground, restrooms and a cafe at Tigertail beach. The lagoon is wonderful for fishing and SUP activity. We can help you with an inflatable SUP www.marcofun.com . If you do not want to take the “long way round” to the beach- try wading across the lagoon . Its an adventure!. The wildlife at Tigertail knows no ends- turtle nests, sea birds, shells, crabs and of course Pelicans and dolphins.

Our last beach is Residents beach- as the name suggests we have it for residents only, you can walk past it its not private – only the parking and facilities are private.

Now we have more to Marco than our beaches, We have some very nice restaurants. Hers a few we love.

The Oyster Society- great for – you guessed it seafood and oysters! Why not rent our golf cart and go- www.marcofun.com is the place to book !

Da Vinci- super steaks and a lovely Happy Hour.

Samis pizza is a great place for open air dining and getting a pizza!

Breakfast spots on Marco Island are always busy and all are good- our favorite is Red Rooster lovely staff and you can sit outside on the lanai.

The Snook inn has great views, beer and food- lovely to go see live music there and see the boats pass by.

Some more fun things on Marco are The piraate ship- he comes in the season and does two tours a day- the kids have great fun. The dolphin Explorere is both informative and fun to see the local waters on Marco Island.

Our island has so much to offer you – rent one of our bikes or paddleboards to explore at your own pace and post those pictures to #marcofun on Instagram!

for all of your rental bike needs www.marcofun.com will be able to help.
